The aim of this study is to clarify the nature of modern means and their role in criminal evidence, and to show the extent of their ability to detect crimes that are difficult to detect by traditional means, but the problem of this study is the extent to which the legitimacy of modern means of proof can be recognized, especially in cases where their use by the competent authorities violates the privacy of individuals and their rights protected by solid legislative texts. The importance of this study is highlighted in that it deals in detail with the latest and most advanced scientific methods used in criminal evidence cases, by indicating these means and presenting the extent to which they can be relied upon in criminal evidence, as well as indicating their legal importance in order to rely on the results of their use in this field.
