The paper aims to highlighting the role of leading financial indicators in forecasting financial crises in the Egyptian banking sector, how to enhance the role and effectiveness of indicators in predicting financial crises before they occur, and ways to avoid the negative effects of financial crises and their repercussions on Egyptian banks. As a result of this research, the leading financial indicators are it is an integrated system based on assessing conditions according to specific methods and strategies, which helps predict the occurrence of financial crises and prevent them from occurring, or at least reduce the size of the losses that these crises cause in the banking sector.
